Frequently Asked Questions:
Not sure where to start? Here is a great place!

Below David takes the time to answer some common questions. If you have any other more specific questions, please reach out! He is happy to be a resource for your mental health journey.
How long is a session?

Sessions are 50 minutes in length and start promptly on time. Longer sessions are available for an additional fee, if that is something you feel you need. Please inquire.

How much does it cost?

Depending on the therapy, each session is $100-$125, payable upon booking through the app. Receipts are provided for submission to your insurance provider or if you require one otherwise.

Do you have a sliding scale?

For clients who are lower income, fixed income or have special circumstances a sliding scale is available. Feel free to reach out and let me know about your individual situation.

Do you treat women as well?

Of course I do! Often partners or women need help relating to or understanding a male spouse or family member. I have helped many women with issues and often can provide insight female counselors cannot.

What are my options to have a session?

You can see me in my private office, via Zoom video or over the phone. Each person's comfort level is different and sometimes seeing me virtually is more convenient.

What does a session consist of?

The session is 100% focused on you and your mental health journey. Therefore session to session the conversation may change, but the session will always begin with a recap of your recent issues, and end with some focused recommendations to help you on your way.

There are so many options - why choose you?

What I feel I bring to the table is experience and focus. I have been working with people for 20+ years and have dealt with just about every situation imaginable in that time. When you are working with me you are getting 100% of my attention with active listening and appropriate guidance. I also pride myself on educating my clients to empower them to work on their own as much as possible.

Do I need to see you all the time?

Not at all. Some clients see me once a month, some see me three times a week. That is entirely up to you, your budget and your consistency. That is what will bring results.
